PersephoneK’s Constantly Evolving Code of Life

  1. Live for this life only; It’s the only life proven to exist.  (03/01/2013)
  2. If you can’t make the world a better place, at least don’t make it worse.  (03/01/2013)
  3. Work to eliminate, or reduce mental and physical pain to living creatures, especially those with intelligence and self-awareness whenever possible and reasonable. (03/01/2013)
  4. Freedom by default; Restrictions with extreme prejudice. (03/01/2013)
  5. Perfection is not achievable; but continuous self-examination is crucial. (03/01/2013)
  6. Strive for personal happiness, but don’t interfere with the pursuits of others to do the same. (03/01/2013)
  7. Be inspired by good ideas, but do not become a prisoner to political parties, or other dogmas. (03/07/2013)
  8. Be mindful of your Sphere of Power and don’t abuse it.  (03/14/2013)
  9. I own my body; You own yours.  No one or thing has the right to decide what we do with our bodies respectively, even if those things are dangerous to us. (03/30/2013)
  10. Common sense does not always equal good sense; Think critically for yourself. (04/03/2013)
  11. Be Skeptical, but not cynical, and always seek the truth.  (05/08/2013)
  12. All things in a free society should be voluntary until a person proves to be a danger to others lives, property or liberty. (12/11/2015)
  13. Society is not a thing, and is made solely of individuals; Government is not society or culture. (12/11/2015)
  14. Speech can hurt, but it can never infringe on your rights. (12/11/2015)
  15. The needs of the individual, properly protected and left to flourish, lead to the good of the one, the few, and the many. (05/12/2016)

Note: I believe life is a constant state of growth, so I would never set a personal code in stone, but as of right now, these are the principals that guide my life.  I’ll add more, and amend these as I see fit.
